Overview:
This 3.66GHz Xeon MP processor upgrade features a 667MHz front side bus. The xSeries x366 server will be using Intel's next-generation processor platform. This new platform is designed to deliver improvements in memory bandwidth throughput speed power consumption and overall system performance to provide an optimized solution for MP processor-based servers. This rich stable of technology improvements addresses the requirements of today's data-hungry systems and software that crave performance. These software applications range from financial and scientific modeling to visualization and data base retrieval. These applications are also enhanced with the new Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology that provides headroom support for future growth.
