It is contained in a 3.5-inch 1-inch high slim-line form factor that allows maximum installations in supported IBM eServer xSeries servers. Take advantage of SCSI non-hot-swap technology with 10 000rpm HDDs to provide the opportunity for large SCSI devices to be inserted directly into server systems and improve scalability to support future interface speed increases. This non-hot-swap HDD is engineered to support entry-level enterprise server applications. It supports the new BladeCenter SCSI Storage Expansion Unit (part# 26K4817).
