Overview: The Multi-Server UPS Card seamlessly integrates into your Compaq UPS through an option slot available on the back of your Compaq UPS. The Multi-Server UPS Card facilitates direct communication with your critical servers (up to three servers) via individual serial communication ports preventing the need to purchase additional UPSs to support each server. The Compaq Multi-Server UPS Card is intelligently managed through Compaq Power Management Software. With the Compaq Multi-Server UPS Card each load segment functions as a separate UPS with individual shutdown schedules and load segment configurations. In addition the Compaq Multi-Server UPS Card enables system administrators the flexibility to manage multiple platforms with one Compaq UPS. If the network is down the Compaq Multi-Server UPS Card can still conduct prioritized shutdowns.
